It was first built in the second year of the Dazhong Xiangfu era of the Northern Song Dynasty (1009 AD, Islamic calendar 400).The temple gate is 13 meters high and features a three-tiered stone dome structure; the west wall of the Fengtian Altar has a stone niche inscribed with ancient Arabic Quran text; and the Mingshan Hall is now a brick and wood structure prayer hall.
